Draft for Roxi approval. Last updated July 8, 2026.

What RoxClimbs stores

RoxClimbs stores the climbing, training, goals, planned workouts, imports, and optional health context you choose to use with the app. Health context can include readiness, sleep, HRV, cycle, wellness, activity load, and injury notes.

Your app data lives in your own SQLite database file. Account and session data live in a separate authentication database.

Where it lives

The hosted app is intended to run on an EU server. Backups, if enabled by the operator, are for recovery only.

Who sees it

You see your data. Roxi operates the service and has technical access, but will not look at your personal data unless you ask for help or permission is needed to resolve a support issue.

RoxClimbs does not sell your data, show ads, or share your climbing or health data with third parties for marketing.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled, RoxClimbs sends anonymous usage events to PostHog EU, such as page views and feature use. These events never include health values, route names, notes, messages, grades, names, or email addresses.

The session cookie is strictly necessary to keep you logged in, so RoxClimbs does not show a cookie banner for it.

Coach

The Coach uses your data only when you add your own Anthropic API key and ask it to generate coaching. When enabled, the relevant coaching context is sent to Anthropic to answer your request.

Export and delete

You can export your data from Settings. The export is generated when you ask for it and is not stored by the app.

You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is immediate: your sessions are revoked, your account row is removed, and your user data folder is deleted. Gone means gone.

Contact

Contact Roxi for privacy questions, support requests, or account help.
